The Largest Benefit of Probiotics

Most consumers constantly try to keep their world sterile. Such harmful microscopic germs and viruses as influenza and pneumonia keep parents on constant guard. Few parents are informed of the benefits of probiotic bacteria to their babies and children. These friendly organisms help before, during and after any illness or medication regimen.

Probiotics play an important role in baby's life even as they develop in the womb. Babies receive a natural boost of them into their own bodies as they pass through the birth canal. These friendly organisms help babies in the same ways they help adults. It is important for parents to understand that nature has already placed hundreds of similar microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract of all mammals. This is a natural defense against pathogens or harmful bacteria.

These defense bacteria create a barrier along the lining of the tract. This helps prevent harmful invaders from lodging themselves. Probiotics also stimulate the existing immune system. They help the body by stimulating production of various B vitamins as well as vitamin K. These organisms go even further by producing enzymes necessary for a healthy digestive system.

Probiotics are reported to help baby deal with common allergens and allergic reactions such as hay fever, eczema, and asthma. Breast-fed babies receive a natural boost from mother's milk. The rates of colic and other digestive problems are less in babies who have been breast-fed. There are existing formulas that contain additives with these bacteria. Parents should consult with their pediatrician before changing formulas.

These naturally occurring microorganisms are commonly found in yogurt. They can also be used in:

* Cottage cheeses

* Aged cheeses

* Certain pickles

* Some fruit juices

Probiotics are easily purchased in supplemental forms as well. They are currently available in health food stores as chewable tablets, powders, capsules, or in granulated forms. They are all taken orally and the majority work just as effectively when mixed with food or liquid.

One large benefit these helpful microorganisms have on babies is the replenishment of helpful bacteria lost from diarrhea. There are already a host of natural helpful organisms in a baby's digestive system. This delicate balance may become unbalanced from a variety of reasons.

Antibiotics help the body to fight off infections and illness. The antibiotics themselves will not distinguish between good and bad bacteria. Your baby can lose a number of the good one in their system. Common colds and the stomach flu also lessen the number of helpful organisms in a baby's system.

A supplement may help regulate your baby's body after these health problems. Probiotics have also been reported to lessen lactose intolerance in babies who have allergies. They may enhance your baby's immune system and boost their current levels of antioxidants.

Thrush is a common worry for parents. This is a form of yeast infection that is also known as Candida. There is a natural presence of Candida in the body that is kept regulated by natural probiotics. The use of bottles and pacifiers creates a perfect environment for this type of yeast infection. Antibiotics may also increase baby's risk for developing thrush. A good supplement from a trusted company may be the best advantage you can give your growing baby.

What is a Gluten Allergy?

By Dorothy Medlum

In grains such as wheat, rye, barley, and low level oats, there is a rubbery protein which is called gluten. This is the binder in bread. You would notice it in breads and other baked goods.

Although these grains contain gluten, which can be the cause of gluten allergy in sensitive people, they also contain number of other proteins that can also be the cause of allergy symptoms.

The four primary proteins found in wheat, rye, and barley include: albumin, globulin, gliadin, and glutenin, better known as gluten. While the symptoms and severity of gluten allergy vary from one person to another, a person would generally experience hives, swelling, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, or asthma.

If the person is highly sensitive to gluten allergy, the symptoms could be life-threatening.

The good news about gluten allergy is that if the person has a reaction after eating wheat or wheat products, making an early diagnosis is quite easy. The challenge is because so many foods we eat are made from wheat, it becomes difficult to determine where the real problems are.

A trained allergist would need to do a skin prick test to better determine the gluten allergy problem. If the reaction is severe, the solution may involve elimination of the by products from the diet. If the gluten allergy is minor, the amount of wheat may be watched, allergy medication and shots taken to help the person with the gluten allergy.

If the person with the gluten allergy is a child, chances are this will be outgrown. Children's symptoms for this may include: abdominal distension growth, abnormal stools, irritability, poor muscle tone, and wasting of the muscles. In the adult the allergy may be shown as significant weight loss, abdominal cramps, and bloating, and constipation.

A doctor will do a blood test in either cased to confirm the diagnosis. Once done, the treatment is to eliminate gluten from the diet. It is essential, therefore; to address things such as nutrients and deficiencies. Niacin, iron, thiamin, riboflavin, chromium, dolacin, and phosphorus, health care, and diet are matters to be discussed with your physician.

Essential Oils you Must Have in Your Medicine Cabinet

By Christa McCourt

Presently, we are overwhelmed with choices to rid our aches and pains, colds and flu, upset stomachs, diarrhea, allergies and so on. Between TV commercials and drug stores we have way too many choices!

How can we trust that these products will work? And why are there so many?

We can surely waste a lot of time in the drug store searching for the perfect remedy. Reading label after label and hoping we don't suffer any funky side effects.

I have found that using essential oils can substitute all of my over-the-counter medications. And, I don't fear getting any side effects.

Essential oils have been used as medicine for thousands of years. And today, the rediscovery of true, medicinal aromatherapy is affecting thousands of people in profound ways.

I am one of those fortunate people who have experienced, first hand, the medicinal benefits of essential oils. And I will never be without them!

I don't suggest that you discontinue taking your prescription medications as they are needed for your health. And, always check with your physician before lowering or stopping your medication.

To lower a fever: Take 3 drops of Peppermint essential oil and rub it on each foot. I've used this remedy many times to lower fevers and it works like a charm. Especially on children. But if your child is under 2, please dilute the essential oil in a carrier oil such as an organic olive oil. 1 part essential oil to 10 parts carrier oil. Besides fevers, peppermint essential oil is also good for headaches, stuffy noses, upset stomachs, focus and concentration and taking the itch out of insect bites. A bottle of peppermint essential oil can replace as many as 6 over-the-counter medicines.

To combat allergies: Use 1 drop of lavender essential oil on your cheek bones and below your nose. This will help clear your sinuses. Lavender essential oil is a natural antihistamine. Lavender essential oil is most know for it's relaxing properties. But it can also cleanse wounds and cuts, heal sun burned skin and prevent scars. One bottle of Lavender essential oil can easily replace numerous medications.

For arthritis and joint pain: Take a few drops of an essential oil blend called PanAway and rub it on your sore joints. I love this blend for back pain! This awesome blend contains; wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens), helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum), clove (Syzygium aromaticum) and peppermint (Mentha piperita.) PanAway can also help muscle soreness that we feel after exercising. One bottle of PanAway can replace many common muscle rubs and some pain relieving pills.

Therapeutic grade essential oils can give you the same results as common medications. What they won't give you is the wacky side effects. A word to the wise, always use therapeutic grade essential oils when your dealing with your health and healing needs. A low quality essential oil will not offer you any therapeutic value. What is a Food Allergy?

By Dorothy Medlum

A reaction by the body's immune system to something you ate or drank is called a food allergy. These particular allergies are more common in children than they are in adults. These are also more common to those who may have other types of allergies.

Very minute amounts of food can cause a reaction if you are allergic to it, and a severe reaction can be life threatening and occur suddenly.

When the body's immune system mistakes a harmless substance for a harmful one, an allergy has occurred. Such is the case in food allergies. The substance your body sees as harmful is the food itself.

Therefore, the next time you eat that type of food, your immune system releases great amounts of chemicals, such as histamines, to protect the body. These chemicals can then trigger symptoms that can affect the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, gastrointestinal tract, and skin.

Tips for Managing a Peanut Allergy

Artificial nuts can also be peanuts that have been reflavored with a nut, such as pecan or walnut. Manedlonas are peanuts soaked in almond flavoring.

Arachis oil is peanut oil. If you are eating at an African, Chinese, Indonesian, Mexican, or Thai restaurant, their dishes oftentimes contain peanuts or are contaminated with peanuts during the preparation process. Foods that are also sold in bakeries and ice cream shops often are in contact with peanuts. Many brands of sunflower seeds are produced on equipment shared with that of peanuts.

Keep in Mind

Most allergic individuals, studies show, can safely eat peanut oil-sometimes. If you are not sure, ask your doctor if you should avoid peanut oil because of your peanut allergy. Most experts agree if you have a peanut-allergic patient, he/she needs to avoid eating tree nuts as an extra precaution. Peanuts are found in many foods and candies, especially chocolate candy. Check your labels carefully. Contact the manufacturer if you have questions.

Tips for Managing a Wheat Allergy

Celiac disease and wheat allergy are two distinct conditions. Celiac disease, or celiac sprue, is a permanent adverse reaction to gluten. Wheat -allergic people have an IGE-mediated response to wheat protein. These individuals must only avoid wheat. Most wheat-allergic children outgrow this allergy.

Keep in Mind

Read labels carefully. At least one brand of hot dogs and one brand of ice cream contain wheat. It is listed on the label. Many country-style wreaths are decorated with wheat products. Some types of imitation crabmeat contain wheat. Wheat flour is sometimes flavored and shaped to look like beef, pork, and shrimp, especially in Asian dishes.

Allergy Medicine: Stop Them In Their Tracks!

By Dorothy Medlum

It is not fun to have an allergic reaction. You may suffer with sneezing, coughing, weeping, or even swelling, in some cases. Some people experience migraines because of their allergies while others may go into shock, in extreme cases.

Every allergy is different and not all medications are equal in quality or in strength per dosage. You have to find what works for you. This can be better accomplished by talking with your doctor or your allergist.

How Do They Test for Allergies?

When you go to your allergist to be tested, she will test you with various substances. This way she will be able to determine exactly what your specific allergy might be.

You may be tested by anything from dairy products to types of grasses to dust and dander. What your allergist is searching for is a certain reaction.

If you do have an allergy to whatever substance was injected into your skin, your skin will take on a red appearance with a raised place on it. This is a sure sign that you have experienced a reaction.

Now your allergist can better determine what your allergy is and prescribe a regime of medication designed just to meet your specific needs.

When having an allergy, depending on the severity, you need to find the medicine that will work best for you. If your allergy is mild, perhaps, an over the counter allergy medication will work well for you.

If however, the allergy is too severe, say to shellfish, and you swell up like a basketball and must be rushed to the emergency room, an over the counter medicine would not do the trick. This type of allergy will require serious medical attention and a stronger prescription prescribed by a doctor.

If you are allergic to something and you would like to at least rid yourself of some of the symptoms, get tested today. Ask your allergist if there is a medication he would recommend that would help you feel better again. There are many medicines on the market that will help with your symptoms. So get on the move to living a better allergy- free life.

Back Pain Caused By Allergies

By Max Beartoes

There are many ways that back problems can occur. One of the most difficult to deal with is back pain caused by an allergy. This problem is more common than we would think. Take your back problems serious because if you do not treat it, your back problems can become severe.

Try To Find The Cause

A person dealing with back pain, should take the most important step of finding out what allergies is causing the reaction. There are several different allergies that a person can have but springtime seems to be the worst time of year to get them. Have a doctor do several tests on you to determine exactly what you are allergic to.

You could have any of these allergies plus food allergies:

House dust, house dust mites, animal dander, yeasts, bee/wasp stings, and certain drugs and foods can also cause allergic reactions. Eggs, milk, shellfish, nuts, dried fruits, and certain food dyes can cause food allergies.

Lower Back Pain And How To Deal With It

What is going to happen next is that there are steps that need to be taken to tell what is the best treatment for the person who has the intolerance to the allergens. There are some very effective options, but it will depend if the back pain is acute or chronic.

What happens with sudden acute low back pain, is it comes on all of a sudden and you don't know where it came from. Chronic lower back pain is the recurring type and can last for a couple months to even longer in some cases.

The first step in the treatment plan is usually drugs. Prescription and non-prescription drugs are available for people who have allergies that cause back pain. What drug to take for your back pain will depend on how serious and how long a person has had the back pain.

Commonly used drugs to help back pain are: Advil and NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Now when you get to the prescription drugs there are risks in taking some of them. You can have possible side effects, drug interactions with other medications you may be taking, so be careful.

Always read the labels of the medication you are taking even the ones prescribed by a doctor. This will ensure that you have as little cause for an allergic reaction as possible.

Don't forget there are always supplements and vitamins to have better nutrition. A good diet is also important.

Asthma Treatment From China

By Ellen Mathers

When seasons change my wife is sure to get very sick. What I call prescription drug sick. She says she feels like a one man (woman) manufacturing plant for post nasal drip. She complains that her eyes are red and burn. She looks like a reject from "Night of the Living Dead" and feels like it too. I should know because I too had asthma and allergies but grew out of them before college. Fortunately for her, Great husband that I am, have found her the ultimate solution.

I grew up in rural America on a farm. My allergies were horrible. They just seemed to diminish as I grew older. I was impressed that I did not have to deal with sneezing and coughing I couldn't see straight. I felt as if I was free at last. My wife isn't as fortunate as me.

Could you see yourself in the same situation doing whatever you could to get a natural allergy relief? My better half spends most of her days in a medicated state taking over the counter cure-alls for her chronic allergies. I should buy stock in Kleenex. How can this be good! I know, even without asking, that she would do just about anything to get better.

I got really pumped up when I met a lady while getting a massage, a gift from my wife for our anniversary. I was delighted to learn that acupuncture might provide the relief my wife was looking for.

She swears up and down that it's the absolute best of allergy cures. Once she began this natural allergy treatment, her runny nose and sneezing ceased. This is awesome. You've got to give it up for the Asian medicine that's been around forever, and yet it works better than some we westerners use today. Now my wife wants to have acupuncture done on her regarding allergies.

Also my therapist told me that she took back her life after just a few allergy treatments. She could go to outside events like baseball games and concerts.

As you've probably seen already, acupuncture treatment consists of a professional placing hair-like needle into different meridians of your body. This in turn creates a balance. Blood circulation and chi flow are involved.

So, maybe you've tried 20 different "allergy cures," and they all failed you so far. Okay, now what? Just maybe acupuncture is the answer to your allergy relief. This especially goes for the folks, who are allergic to a number of different things. Get tested for your allergies if you don't already know where they stem from. This can assist you with proper allergy cures.

Treating Allergy Symptoms

By Dorothy Medlum

Allergies are growing rapidly in today's generation. These range in a variety of sources from chemicals, foods, flowers, grasses, and environmental products. You rarely meet anyone who hasn't had an allergy to something.

Being aware of your allergy symptoms and knowing how to treat the underlying causes creating them are two necessary components of finding an effective solution to increased health and wellness.

There are many solutions that people have for treating allergy symptoms, but the problem with these solutions is that they are oftentimes short-lived. They only provide a band-aid to what the real problem is. Only patience and knowledge help one overcome debilitating allergies.

What Are The Common Allergy Symptoms?

Common allergy symptoms are daily seen by doctors throughout the world. The nasal passages being continually clogged and/or draining and headaches are usually symptoms of chronic sinusitis, the most frequent sign of an allergy.

A variety of over-the-counter and prescription medications are available to help stop these reactions and inflammation. Eye drops are often used to take the redness and irritation away from the eyes.

Natural approaches can also be used as an option to allergy symptoms. When dealing with allergies, a variety of herbs can be most affective. An example of a helpful herb is milk thistle which is used to cleanse the liver and help it function more properly.

Other allergy symptoms cause more delayed-type reactions that can occur even weeks after an exposure. Having this type of allergy is not only difficult to diagnose it can also cause problems for the sufferer for years to come. Allergy symptoms of this type include gastro-intestinal issues such as: irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, or diarrhea. Many of these are caused by certain foods that the body is reacting against and need to have eliminated from the diet.

Allergy symptoms to certain chemicals or food additives can be equated to mental problems such as attention deficit and depression. By using dietary intervention or acupuncture, the root causes of these allergy symptoms may be found. This is helpful in providing long-term relief. There is not always a "quick-fix" answer to allergy symptoms, the underlying cause has to be discovered and then dealt with no matter how long. This eventually leads to better health for a longer period of time, at last!

Win the Battle of Sinusitis with These Sinusitis Remedies

By Paul Tamens

Are you losing the battle of sinusitis? Do you find yourself sniffling, sneezing, coughing and struggling to breath? Sinusitis can be one of the most frustrating experiences that you can ever endure. You find yourself running out of tissues, your head is all clogged up and you want to do nothing but run and hide somewhere. Sinusitis can be rough, however there are some sinusitis remedies that you can use to help you get over this condition.

One of the biggest contributors to sinusitis is allergies. Exposure to foreign elements and breathing them in can cause an allergic reaction that contributes to the sinusitis condition. Therefore, one of the best sinusitis remedies that you try is to limit your exposure to these foreign elements. The most common contributor is of course the infamous pollen. However, there are several other elements that you need to be aware of as well. These include pet hair, mold and dust.

The air you breathe plays a vital role in helping you to gain relief faster. Breathing in dry air simply helps to compound the problem. Instead, you want to make the air you breathe as humid as possible. One way to do this is to go into the bathroom, turn on the hot shower, leave it running and spend 10-15 minutes breathing in the humid air in the bathroom. Another way to do this is to simply purchase a humidifier and leave it running throughout the house.

Getting a good amount of liquids throughout the day also helps to relieve sinusitis. The more liquid that you drink daily, the easier it will be for the body to break down the mucus build up and to relieve some of the excess tension on the sinuses. Hot liquid like tea gives the added benefit of increasing the amount of humid air you breathe in if you take the time to breathe in the hot fumes being expelled from the tea. Soup is also a good food to eat for these purposes as it is liquid based and provides many of these benefits as well as powering the body through good nutrients.

If the case of sinusitis is being caused by bacteria or viruses as opposed to an allergic reaction, you want to take a slightly different approach in your sinusitis remedies. One approach that you can take is to focus on building up your immune system in a way so that your body has the strength to fight off the illness. You should supplement your diet with as much vitamin C as you can. Vitamin C builds the immune system. You should also eat well, get some exercise and get the rest that your body needs to recuperate.

You must also remember that many sinusitis conditions are caused as a result of bacteria or viruses. As such, you want to make sure you limit your exposures to germs that facilitate the transfer of these agents. If someone is coughing and sneezing stay away from them so that you don?t get their germs. Many germs can be eliminated if you properly wash your hands, which consist of exposure to warm water, soap and vigorous scrubbing for at least 20 seconds. Avoid public restrooms and if you do need to use one, make sure you open the door with a paper towel in your hand because most people don?t wash their hands after using it.

Sinusitis Treatments: Chronic vs. Acute

By Paul Tamens

Sinusitis occurs as a result of the sinus membranes in the nasal passages swelling up as a result of a variety of different factors. A sinusitis condition can develop as a result of two reasons. The first reason is a reaction to an allergenic. The second reason is a reaction to contracting a virus or bacteria.

There are two types of sinusitis that can develop. The first type of sinusitis that can develop is referred to as acute sinusitis. This type is the lesser of the two as only lasts a few days or a few weeks. Acute sinusitis occurs from either allergies or an infection of viruses or bacteria. The second type of sinusitis that can develop is referred to as chronic sinusitis. It comes from the same places as the acute version but lasts longer. It can last for several weeks or even several months.

The treatment for acute sinusitis depends on the root cause of the condition. Treatment of the symptoms is universal regardless of the cause of the condition. However, depending on what the cause of the condition is, you will also have to treat the trigger of the condition. For example, if acute sinusitis is being caused by an allergic reaction, then it makes sense to limit or eliminate exposure to whatever is causing the reaction. If acute sinusitis is being caused by exposure to bacteria or viruses then it makes sense to eliminate the bacterial or viruses that trigger the condition.

Chronic sinusitis can be caused by many of the same sources as acute sinusitis. Prolonged exposure to the causes can result in this condition. In addition, there are several other causes above and beyond the root causes identified for acute sinusitis that can trigger a chronic sinusitis condition. A really bad common cold can cause a respiratory tract infection, resulting in chronic sinusitis. Other causes include injury to the face, airborne fungi exposure or other medical conditions.

Acute sinusitis can be treated using several different methods. Over the counter medicine is one way you can treat it. There are many medications that you can purchase at your local pharmacy or drug start to treat sinusitis. Some examples include Claritin OTC, Dayquil, Nyquil, Actifed and Sudafed. Drinking hot soup or tea, doing a nasal rinse and inhaling hot steam are also ways you can help treat acute sinusitis.

Chronic sinusitis should be treated by seeking out a medical professional. There are several treatments that a medical professional can recommend that you personally cannot engage in on your own. For example, chronic sinusitis may require access to medications that are not available over the counter. There are drugs such as Flonase and Prednisone that can reduce inflammation of the sinuses directly. Sometimes a medical procedure is needed in order to treat chronic sinusitis. A doctor can recommend procedures such as a ballon rhinoplasty as well as an endoscopic sinus surgery. This is why it is important that you seek out a doctor to treat chronic sinusitis. Otherwise you will simply suffer through the symptoms indefinitely.

Natural Allergy Cures: Discover The Natural Allergy Cures That Work

If you have ever used medication for an allergy, you would have probably noticed that there is a big problem, the medication only treats the symptoms rather than the cause. As soon as you stop taking your medication you'll notice that the symptoms eventually reappear. In this article we take a look at natural allergy cures.

Buying allergy medication can cost you quite a bit of money over the period of a year depending on how often you develop allergies. This is one of the reasons why many people have turned to natural allergy cures to treat the cause of the allergy rather than just the symptoms. In this article we look at some of these natural allergy cures.

Most health experts recommend that we eat five portions of fruit and vegetables each day in order to stay healthy. Doing this is also helps to reduce the symptoms of an allergy. You should aim to eat as close to five portions of fruit and vegetables as possible. Some vegetables that are really good for allergy symptoms include carrots, beet root and cucumbers. If you find it hard to get enough vegetables you may want to consider buying vegetable juice.

Research suggests that foods that are high in nutrients and vitamins such as B5, vitamin and pantothenic acid can help to improve the symptoms of hay fever. If you can't get enough vitamins and nutrients from your diet you may want to take a supplement, however if you can, try to make sure your diet is high in vitamins and nutrients as this can help to keep the immune system in good working order. Consuming yogurt on a daily basis can also help to treat hay fever; the best yogurts to consume are ones that contain healthy bacteria.

Castor oil is not the best tasting oil in the world, however it is brilliant at treating allergies that affect the intestines and nasal passage. Most people mix castor oil in with their fruit juice or vegetable juice, this disguises its taste, and increases the benefits because fruit juice is obviously good for you.

Most supplements will have a positive effect on allergies such as hay fever as they allow the immune system to work at its optimum, so the body can effectively fight the symptoms of an allergy.

In recent times therapy has started to gain popularity as a natural allergy cure. It works on the basis that allergies are the result of the immunes system trying to destroy a harmless substance, which it recognizes as harmful for some strange reason. In allergy therapy the brain is programmed to recognize that these substances are not actually harmful and should not be attacked.

The good thing about natural allergy cures is that they don't only help to clear up allergies, they also keep the body healthy, for example consuming vegetable juice helps to reduce the chances of suffering the symptoms of allergies and also ensures that the body gets the optimum amount of vitamins and minerals.

Natural Remedies For Sinus Allergy

Sinus allergy is a very common illness, which fortunately is not life threatening in most cases. However, its symptoms can wear you down especially if you do not know the source of your allergens. Certain drugs can also cause drowsiness or other side effects. You may wish to consider natural remedies for sinus allergy, as safer alternatives to provide relief.

You may often find that you need to stay in bed when your symptoms become severe. Some of the most common symptoms that you may have to contend with include sneezing, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, and more. Here are a few examples of natural remedies for sinus allergy:

1. Licorice. Licorice has two main healing properties that are highly beneficial in treating chronic sinusitis. It aids in reducing inflammation and it strengthens the immune system. You can easily obtain licorice herbs from your local herbal store.

2. Echinacea. This natural remedy for sinus allergy works by boosting your immune system. It is most effective when you take it as soon as you begin to feel the illness coming on. You can consume this in the form of a herbal tea. Alternatively, to ensure that you get maximum strength, you can take Echinacea capsules.

3. Ginger. Ginger is a spice that is commonly found in most kitchens. It is anti-inflammatory that is used to help treat headaches and other pain. I highly recommend ginger tea as a beverage that you can take. In fact, drinking hot ginger tea is a practice common in many Asian countries. You can order ginger tea at any local coffee shop in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia.

4. Peppermint. Peppermint is helpful in reducing inflammation and is especially helpful in reducing the inflammation of mucous membranes. Drinking a tea of peppermint or breathing in steam from a peppermint inhalation can clear your nose so that you can rest more peacefully.

5. Lemon Balm. Lemon balm is a natural remedy for sinusitis as it is known for fighting off viruses and bacteria and providing relief. Lemon balm tea is the normal way to ingest it.

6. Antioxidants. Foods that are high in antioxidants can help strengthen your immune system and they can help your body to fight illnesses naturally. These foods are cranberries, blueberries, pomegranates, artichokes, and red beans. Ensuring that your diet is comprised more of such foods can help you to prevent sinus infections.

Since incorporating some of the above natural remedies for sinus allergy into my diet, I have found that I am less prone to developing runny nose symptoms. These are far better than using drug medications since natural remedies produce fewer side effects. One great thing is also that some of these natural remedies can already be found in the kitchen cabinet. It is certainly true that the kitchen can be your pharmacy for allergies as well!
