These media outlets have devoted a significant amount of coverage to the health-giving qualities of the Acai berry.

The Acai berry has a lot to recommend it, this humble berry is nothing less than incredible. The Acai berry contains ten times more anti-aging antioxidant compounds than do red grapes! This fruit also boasts many amino acids, the building blocks of protein.

As every schoolchild is aware, the human body cannot function without receiving the right nutrients - not to mention the great improvements in health which proper nutrition grants. Out of the many nutritional benefits contained within the Acai berry, perhaps the greatest is the wealth of amino acids they hold. Amino acids are beneficial in a multitude of ways, especially in strengthening the function of the immune system.

The only downside to the Acai berry is that it is not readily available fresh outside of the Amazon River Basin in Brazil, where it is native to. This, the fruit of the Acai palm does not stay fresh long enough to be transported outside of the region.

As a consequence you will not be able to buy fresh Acai berries, however it can be freeze dried. Once it is freeze dried it is then turned into powder. When this process takes place it does not lose any of its nutritional value so you still get all the health benefits as if you were eating it fresh.

Unlike some healthy foods, the Acai berry also tastes wonderful. It has a flavor somewhere between blueberries and chocolate, a flavor loved by just about everyone. Finally, a great tasting health food.

Excellent post! Loved reading it! Even though acai berry can be a real super food that has lot of nutrition properties it is indeed sad to notice companies like Monavie misusing the fruit.
